proposal:

metro transit safety proposal

1: This proposal advocates for the implementation of new safety measures to combat crime on the Twin Cities light rail. It outlines current issues surrounding rider safety and suggests specific solutions to remedy these problems.

2: This was written primarily for the Metropolitan Council, the organization that oversees Metro Transit. However, I prioritized plain language and ensured that I defined any jargon so that the general public, who is affected by these issues, is also able to understand it.

3: I used my strong persuasive writing and audience analysis skills to write this proposal. I also synthesized complex information from research studies and presented it in easily interpretable ways.

Title page of the Metro Transit Safety Proposal titled "Enhancing Rider Experience: Proposal for Light Rail Safety Implementations." It has a blue border and the text is blue and red.

Because the font used by Metro Transit in their official publications is not for public use, I chose a font that is most similar to their official font. To make up for the lack of consistent font, I used the Metro Transit official colors.

I also created this proposal alongside their official considerations, which include “clean, modern, vibrant, accessible” design and an “intelligent, direct, caring, good value” tone.
