quick facts:

I enjoy both STEM and humanities, and I have always been a lifelong learner; I find working with complex topics and data exciting, and writing about these topics comes naturally to me, too.

I couldn’t give up either side. When I discovered TWC (and more specifically UX), it was like a match made in heaven.

(If you’d like to see an example of these sides colliding, check out this science essay I wrote about my passion project — keeping a spreadsheet of my sneezes for over 5 years).

how i got into twc:

my writing priorities:

When I write, I always prioritize the user. No matter what the genre is — manuals, white papers, proposals, or ad copywriting — I strive to create products that support all end users.

I use my curiosity and design thinking to ensure that knowledge and content is accessible to everyone.

me outside of work:

I love golfing and hiking (when the weather permits), watching Jeopardy!, and thrifting. I am really proud of the fact that over half of my wardrobe is secondhand!

I am also a huge animal lover. I volunteer at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah when I’m able to, and I’m passionate about endangered species protection. (Here’s a report I wrote about the causes of Atlantic puffin population decline).
