#4: Finalizing Findings

This week I wrapped up finding the information about commencement dates. I had to message several people from different departments in order to get all the information I needed, but I finally got it all!

After I got all of my information in order (in both a document and a spreadsheet), I’ve been working on organizing it into a presentation. On Monday, I will be meeting with my coworkers to present my findings and figure out what the next steps are.

I put a lot of effort into making the presentation look visually appealing while also following the University of Minnesota’s style guide as closely as possible. I also used personas to demonstrate the two main groups of users who are affected by the lack of commencement dates on the Academic Calendar: students and parents of students.

I’m looking forward to presenting my findings. I have spent a lot of time collecting, synthesizing, and organizing this information and forming recommendations upon it.
