#2: First Experience with Content Review
Hi all, Happy Thanksgiving! This update will be short due to the holiday cutting the week short.
This week, I had a few chances to become more familiar with Drupal. Previously, I had updated broken links on a couple OneStop pages, but I updated headings and text on a page this week. Slowly but surely, I am learning all the different functions of Drupal. I’m not used to CMS that are formatted like Drupal; I’m more familiar with ones like SquareSpace, Wix, and Google Sites, but I’m starting to get the hang of it!
I also did some content review this week. I looked at a few pages on the OneStop website and verified that the information was accurate and all the links and buttons worked. I found content review to be easy, but I can imagine it would be very difficult on pages that are dense with text and information. In doing this, I also now realize the importance of doing this on a regular basis. If content review is neglected, then the users may find the page unhelpful, and the project becomes way bigger than it should’ve been.
I’m looking forward to working on larger projects in the coming weeks. Until then, I will continue learning Drupal and practicing my content review skills.
Thanks for reading! I’ll see you next week!
